CYRA ALI was born in 1986 and graduated in 2010 from Indus valley school of art and architecture, Karachi, pakistan, as valediction. She was awarded an overall distinction in fine art and received the abu shamim award for prominent group shows included are you in character? In 2012, cyra and a group of artisians founded the house of cali, where they dedicate themselves to celebrating and promoting the astounding and inspiring artistry of local craftsmen and artisians revivng and preserving techniques of hand embroidery passed down generation and infusing them with quickly design and art. Their resulting places are unique and distinctive made to become heirlooms that will be cherished forever.

Their first artistic exercise THE MUSEUM COLLECTION is a selection of limited edition, hand embroidered cushion inspired by some of the worlds most famous paintings. Each stroke of the brush is skillfully re interpreted in thread. Each cushion is enhanced by the unique style of the artesian.
